I first introduced you to i heart vanilla bean back in August when Jinnger featured our Tiffany Bow Clutch as her “#2 Wedding Inspiration”. We managed to inspire her again but this time with her latest “Thursday Purse Day” feature.

Clearly, Jinnger is hooked on Davie & Chiyo!

I know the holidays are over and everyone is glum and feeling sorry for themselves with the post-holiday blues but it’s time to snap out of it!

Spring is on the way and we have our first Spring 2011 preview – something blue! (Think crisp spring blue, and not that gloomy blue cloud that you’ve been living under for the past week.) This spread does a fresh take on the traditional “something blue” (no more Grandma’s blue hanky) and opts for more glittery, lush and scandalously sexy options. (Think “something blue” that only your husband-to-be will get to see… *wink*)

Our luxurious Dreams Clutch is set to be featured in the pages of Today’s Bride, Canada’s top selling bridal magazine, in a dreamy shade of baby blue. The chiffon clutch, reminiscent of clouds on a blue bird day, is so light and airy it could almost float away. Uuuhhhh, I can almost smell the spring breeze now…

Pick up your copy on newsstands now or click here to get your very own Dreams Clutch.

Once upon a time there was a girl who was planning her wedding and always turned to Southern Weddings Magazine for inspiration and great ideas. She loved the editors of the magazine and read their blog religiously. One day while reading the blog she came across a fabulous giveaway for a beautiful Bow Clutch and immediately entered to win. She went about the rest of her week and totally forgot about the whole giveaway. The very next week she got a surprise email saying that she won the giveaway. She received her All About A Bow Clutch in the mail, which put the final finishing touch on her wedding. The girl got married to the man of her dreams, and the girl, the man of her dreams and the Bow Clutch lived happily ever after. The end.

Could that story be any more perfect? Well it could be if that lucky girl was you!

Southern Weddings is doing a sweet little giveaway for a couple of our All About A Bow Clutches. All you have to do is comment on the giveaway post, finishing the sentence “Once upon a time…”

Click here check out the Southern Weddings giveaway and hopefully make that happy ending your own.

If a wedding was a sundae, the details are just the cherry on top.

Well, I can’t say that all of you share the same sentiment but Pilar from Cerezas de Tul couldn’t agree more. The Spanish blog is about every finite detail of the big day – the dress of your dreams, the whimsical invitations, the bouquet that is assembled just so, the candles for that romantic ambiance, the flawless updo , the heavenly veil for that perfect moment, and I could go on…

Pilar loved our clutches so we recently did an interview on everything Davie & Chiyo. We answered the big questions about how it all started, inspirations, trends and what we’ve done to make Davie & Chiyo a little more everyday. Gracias, Pilar!

Click here to read our interview on Cerezas de Tul, and thanks to Google Translate you won’t have to brush up on your Spanish first.

It’s your last chance to get a Davie & Chiyo clutch of your very own!

*gasp*

Rather, love my CLUTCH!

We were first introduced to Love My Dress when we saw photos of Jenny and Erik’s beautiful 1920’s style wedding, where Jenny carried our Chiffon Ruffles Clutch. The vintage wedding concept for Annabel’s blog was different from anything we’d ever seen before and we loved it!

Love My Dress was inspired by Annabel’s own wedding and style. After spending 15 months planning and searching for her own vintage and vintage-style bridal treasures, she realized that this was a passion that she wanted to pursue and share with other brides-to-be. Her blog is a resource for inspired weddings, vintage vendors and unique pieces, and readers in the UK can’t seem to get enough.  After only a year online, Love My Dress has become one of the UK’s most popular wedding blogs. Congrats, Annabel!

The classic design and vintage styling of our clutches were the perfect fit for Annabel’s blog and she seemed to agree in a wonderful review of her Navy Bow Clutch.

We LOVE Julie from Peanut Butter Fingers!

I first came across Julie’s blog when Fumi sent me an email saying, “omg, i looooove this blog!” with a link to Peanut Butter Fingers. I wasn’t sure what it was about (Fumi can be pretty random sometimes) so I clicked the link to find out. I immediately loooooved Julie’s blog – she’s a fitness and food fanatic who is making plans for her big trip down the aisle – and I could completely relate (minus the wedding planning, of course). I loved how she chronicled her daily life and most importantly, food!

I wasn’t quite sure where or how Fumi found this blog but I thought that Julie could definitely use one of our clutches for her big day. We sent her our Ivory Rosa Iceberg Clutch, which she just blogged about and it turns out she was already a Davie & Chiyo fan! Julie originally posted two of our clutches (Ivory Chiffon Ruffles and Rose Pink Bow) in her September 1st post where she asked readers to help her choose a wedding day clutch. Given that two of the three options were D&C clutches, I think it’s safe to say that it was meant to be!
