Can’t help but fall in love with lace…

Classically beautiful, the delicate and dreamy fabric brings a vintage feel to today’s modern weddings. We’re loving this trend for its subtlety, so don’t overdo it! Lace doesn’t just mean fabric either – you can really play with the lace motif in interesting prints that utilize the negative space for a new twist on a classic fabric.

WHITE Magazine featured our Antoinette Clutch in their own ‘Loving Lace’ spread.

What goes better with white than WHITE?!

The classic white wedding never goes out of style; crisp, timeless and perfectly polished! The clean colour palette means that you can really play with texture – picture a plethora of petals, gauzy chiffon or delicate lace. Fittingly, Australia’s WHITE Magazine featured our Dreams Clutch in their White Out spread.

We’re loving the 60’s brights for this season! A refreshing departure from this year’s neutral hues, a fun and sprightly palette brings an extra bit of excitement to that special day. Our Fuchsia Bow Clutch is featured  in the pages of Australia’s WHITE Magazine along with a collection of inspired accents and accessories.

Definitely feeling this trend!

Our Egyptian Blue Necktie has  Weddingbells editor, Nicole Keen, seeing spots!

We made it to the pages of Weddingbells’ Fall & Winter 2011 issue, proving that polka-dots aren’t just reserved for girls. Our electric hued tie is lined with a fun polka-dot lining that adds the right amount of personality to an otherwise conservative accessory. This issue is on newsstands nation-wide, so pick up your copy now!

I’m a little late to the game with this one but better late than never…

Sarah from My Olivia Jewelry helped our Romance with Lace Clutch make its way to the frontpage as part of her beautiful blush and nude toned treasury. Definitely my favourite colour palette this year that will be making its way into the fall.

As part of our Etsy Frontpage promotion, Sarah won the clutch of her choice from our shop and will be the proud owner of her very own Pretty Pleats Clutch in Dusty Rose. It’s as easy as that – put together a treasury with any one of our products, make it to the frontpage and you’ve won yourself a D&C clutch!

Thanks to Sarah from branchbound our Pretty Pleats Clutch with Buttercup Flowers made its way to the Etsy frontpage on July 1st. Nothing says summer like orange creamsicles!

And as part of our Etsy Frontpage Giveaway, Sarah got her pick of any clutch in our shop and chose our Pretty Pleats Clutch in Light Silver. Congrats!

There will be cocktails and appies, and we’ll have clutches for sale and samples for ideas so you can place your own custom order right there at our booth. Spotted: Girl about town with Davie & Chiyo clutch in hand.

Yours truly made it to the virtual pages of Vancouver’s own fashion and shopping blog, The Style Spy, toting none other than my very own Shabby Chic Leather Clutch. The interview covers pretty much the A-to-Z on my personal style – what’s in my purse, my weekend wardrobe, beauty must-haves and even my guiltiest pleasures… (Don’t make fun!)

The Vancouver-based blog, which has recently expanded into Toronto, features local contributors with news on the latest and greatest when it comes to shopping in Canada. As much as I love to read European and American fashion blogs, it’s always a little disheartening to find out that that perfect piece just isn’t available in Canada. As a regular reader of The Style Spy I can browse without a looming sense of disappointment, knowing that every covetable piece or up-and-coming boutique is just on my doorstep.

Click here to read the full interview while I enjoy being the girl of the week for just a little longer…
