event: 2012 Bridal Party

We’re kicking off 2012 with our first bridal show of the year! The Hollyburn Country Club’s 2nd Annual Bridal Party is just a few short weeks away and we can’t wait to meet this year’s brides!

This will be our second year at the Bridal Party and after last year’s amazing experience, we couldn’t wait for this year’s event! It’s unlike any other Vancouver bridal show – in the heart of West Vancouver’s British Properties, it’s an intimate event for brides and their gals to peruse a selection of Vancouver’s finest wedding vendors. You’ll find everything from chic accessories to of-the-moment wedding favours, all while sipping prosecco and nibbling on canapés.

We’ll have clutches for sale and samples for ideas so you can place your own custom order right there at our booth. Best part is that if you RSVP, you’ll gift a gift bag with tons of goodies from our fellow vendors and you’ll walk right in with your entourage for free!

A bit of a belated happy new year but happy nonetheless! Congrats to all of those who put a ring on it over the holidays and to those who will be tying the knot this year. 2012 promises to be a big one! We’ve got a top secret project in the works, more shows and events, so stay tuned for the latest updates on our blog.

Busy, busy bees! After weeks of Vancouver shows and events, for the first time ever we’re hitting the road and taking Davie & Chiyo across the provincial borders to Edmonton, Alberta! The oh-so-chilly city will be the setting for the annual Butterdome Christmas Show, December 8-11th. We’re excited (and a bit scared) to get in full-on winter/Christmas mode, complete with snow and -20 degree temperatures!

To celebrate our first time on the road, we’re inviting our Edmonton friends to pop by, say hello and enjoy 15% off all purchases with this coupon!

event: Circle Craft Christmas Market 2011

We’ve been eagerly waiting, preparing and dreaming and FINALLY it’s here! Like Christmas morning (in November) we’re up late just counting down the hours ’til the first day of the Circle Craft Christmas Market!

Unfortunately this is a Vancouverites only event and for those of you who don’t know, Circle Craft is the Christmas market in Vancouver. It has a cult following of those eager to get into the Christmas spirit and get on their holiday shopping early. The market features artisans from across Canada selling everything from handmade rubber stamps to luxurious leather handbags. There really is something for everyone on your list!

And if you needed any more convincing, we’re sweetening the deal with $2 off admission when pre-purchasing tickets online. The one-time admission fee is good for re-entry for the entire duration of the market, so you can enjoy Circle Craft for 1, 2, 3 or even all 5 days. Can’t help but fall in love with lace…

Classically beautiful, the delicate and dreamy fabric brings a vintage feel to today’s modern weddings. We’re loving this trend for its subtlety, so don’t overdo it! Lace doesn’t just mean fabric either – you can really play with the lace motif in interesting prints that utilize the negative space for a new twist on a classic fabric.
